This is a test, only a test. No, really, I’m testing HitTail on this site. I just signed up as a pro member and installed the code. Some think this is the best thing since PPC. I’m excited to test the service and see if the site gains any traffic from it. At one time, we had a 05/10 page rank and fairly significant traffic. We still get quite a bit of natural search traffic but, call me greedy, I want more.
While SEO (Search engine optimization) is very important, it gets more and more confusing with each article as to the penalties for making a mistake. PPC (Pay Per Click) can get very expensive and it’s hardly an option for a Blog with no real product. So ExtremeSitePromotions.com seems like the perfect candidate for HitTail.
It’s unlikely that HitTail will effect our PageRank but a significant increase in traffic should help our Alexa Rank. At the time of this post our site has a Google PageRank of 03/10 and an Alexa traffic rank of 224,834. The chart below should reflect any changes. We have 46 sites linking in right now.
