I received an email from Neil and Linda Shearing about their new product launch of the “Real Link Finder“. Real Link Finder is a FREE program that will help you find relevant Blogs that are receiving actual comments. Why do you want to find these Blogs? To comment on their posts yourself, of course, and build traffic to your Blog or site.

One of the great features of Real Link Finder is it only lists Blogs that do not use the ‘No Follow‘ tags. This helps your PageRank by allowing the search engines to follow the link back to your site. Incoming links are an important part of SEO and commenting on Blogs is a way to add links to your site.

I always warn my readers to only comment on Blogs, forums or any other interactive sites if it’s a sincere comment. This means you need to actually read the post and form an opinion before you click the comment link. Never comment spam a Blog with ‘Great site‘ or ‘I agree‘. Those will just be deleted and you will end up wasting your time, looking stupid and possibly getting banned.

In my opinion, finding sites that don’t use the No Follow tag is a great idea but it’s not the only reason to comment on a Blog. I will comment on a Blog even if they use the no follow attribute because I have something to say and I feel someone will want to read it. It’s simply a matter of being social. With that said, I see no problem getting rewarded for your comments by way of a search engine friendly link back.
